Here's what happened before NYU decided I was ready to enter the real world of non-college. Freshman year I was at Vassar College majoring in nothing but probably would've gone the painful but fun Japanese route. Then I transferred to NYU for food studies.
And now I work at Serious Eats as an editorial assistant. What do I do? I BLOG. And I get paid to do it. ...And i do other stuff, like take photos, edit images, draw illustrations, lug craploads of packages to the post office, eat stuff, drink Snapple. All in a day's work.
This journal is pretty boring, but since you're here anyway, WELCOME, and get a pillow in case you do fall asleep. The last thing I need is to be responsible for any injuries involving cranial contact with a computer peripheral.
I am this crazy webmaster freak who isn't very good at webmastering but will do it for no money and very long hours, foregoing bathroom/eating breaks, sleeping, and regular studies in the process. I have issues.
Just a note: a lot of my entries are protected so that only people on my best friends list can read em. This is to protect you from my craziness and me from you learning about my craziness. And other innocent bystanders. So if you're pretty sure you're on my best friends list and can't see the entries you gotta LOG IN! I just like making your life more complicated. :)
